    Student Testing

    MAP Tests taken at our school two times a year (quarter 1 and quarter 4) to track student achievement in grades 3-9.

    PSAT Preliminary SAT - A standardized test developed to prepare students for the SAT. Exceptional scores on this test may qualify in the USA for the National Merit Scholarship. CRICS students in grades 10 and 11 take this test during the first quarter.

    SAT Scholastic Achievement Test - A standardized test that is given in many countries. This test is considered by many western universities in their admissions process. This is usually taken during the junior (11th) or senior (12th) year.

    Thai Classes

    When families apply to CRICS, they must choose at that time if they are applying as a Thai student or a foreign student (identified based on the passport used) for the duration of the student’s enrollment at CRICS. Those students enrolled as Thai students must comply with Thai law to have Thai classes five times per week throughout their enrollment at CRICS. Those students enrolled as foreign students will be required to comply with the CRICS foreign student expectation for Thai classes (which is in compliance with Thai law).

    Students in grades 6-10 will use a planner in every class during the school day. Please check this planner for assignments, calendar events, due dates for large projects, notes from teachers, and more. This is our most consistent communication tool. Let’s make it count for our kids!

    Elementary Smart Phone/Smart Watches Use

    At CRICS, we are committed to fostering an environment that supports focused learning, student safety, the protection of personal property, and meaningful face-to-face interactions. In keeping with these goals, elementary students are not permitted to have cell phones or smartwatches (e.g., Apple Watches) in their possession during the school day without special permission, including while on field trips.

    Students may not carry or store cell phones or smart watches in backpacks, desks, or on their person during school hours. If a student requires a cell phone after leaving campus, a parent must either meet with the elementary administrator or provide written consent in advance.
