We ask that students refrain from any romantic physical contact during school hours, on school grounds, and at school sponsored events. A public display of affection (PDA) is defined as any action that implies an exclusive or romantic relationship between two individuals. While we recognize that special relationships may exist, we also believe that these special friendships deepen the need for restraint and discipline. If teachers or administrators observe a public display of affection, the students initially receive a warning and explanation regarding the concerns. Persistent warnings will result in disciplinary actions, and/or a conference with the administration and parents, and/or possible suspension from school.</p>
