Jazz Band is a performance-based ensemble course for students with prior instrumental experience who want to explore jazz music. Students will study and perform styles such as swing, blues, Latin jazz, and contemporary jazz. The course emphasizes ensemble playing, improvisation, music literacy, and listening skills, while fostering creativity and collaboration through rehearsals and performances. Enrollment in this course is by audition only.
